Amit's Story
Amit Kumar, the heart behind Aashirwad, discovered his love for cooking in India, inspired by the aromas and flavors of his homeland. From culinary school in New Delhi and Goa to international kitchens in the U.S., his journey blends authenticity with creativity.
His vision has grown into a family of restaurants, including Bombay Street Kitchen, honored with the Michelin Bib Gourmand and Tamarind Indian Cuisine in Winter Park offers traditional flavors with a modern touch. Amit has earned numerous awards for his innovative approach, guided by his belief in honoring India’s culinary heritage and creating experiences that bring people together.
